Stage 4
Stage 4 starts at Parramatta and heads through the St George area into Cronulla and alongside Botany Bay before ending at Bondi Beach.
The path
With Parramatta behind us, we move through Auburn, site of the Gallipoli Mosque and into Bankstown. From here the walk moves through the St George area (known for its football team, the St George Dragons) to the picturesque village of Oatley, where the extension walk over Como bridge can be taken. Passing through Blakehurst and over Tom Ugly’s bridge, the next stop is the southern surfing beach of Cronulla. The path heads north over the Captain Cook Bridge and circumnavigates Botany Bay before heading to St Peters. This stage passes through parklands – Moore Park, Centennial Park and Queens Park and into historic Randwick. From here we walk along the coastline from Coogee Beach to Bondi Beach.
